Crushed - Medium

Crushed Nephrite Jade for Stone Inlay, Mineral Art, or Handmade Jewelry - Medium (select amount)

$5.25 $7.00

  • Details
Nephrite jade is a soft, fibrous mineral that forms as a result of hydrothermal fluids altering the Earth's crust. As one of the oldest gemstones in the world, it’s a sacred material in Chinese cultures and traditions. This particular jade is from China and has the representative green color of jade. These pictures show what the crushed material looks like when dry and wet. The wet photos are a great example of what the crushed stone will look like once it is sealed with a lacquer or a resin-like protective coating. This is very high-quality and clean material!

    Material Size:
Medium - material is considered to be medium to fine (sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters.

This product is NOT man-made, mixed with resin, or stabilized. Stone authenticity is extremely important to all artisans; therefore, we validate the source of all our minerals before they are crushed. All of our minerals are handpicked by me (Missy) at some of the largest mineral shows in the United States.

Please see product images for color, approximate size, and quality. Pictures taken in full sun. Stone is wet in the 1st, 3rd, and 5th photos. Stone is dry in the 2nd and 4th photos. Measurements are using the metric system (millimeters).

    Frequently Asked Questions

My tracking says delivered, but I did not receive my order?

Makers Minerals ships all orders with a tracking, including to locations outside of the United States. Our customers can follow their order using the tracking number that we always provide or through the Etsy app. Please contact your postal provider if you did not receive your package, especially if your tracking says "delivered". If you reside in the United States, we are happy to help you locate your package by calling your local USPS and getting GPS coordinates for your package and/or submitting a claim stating that your package might have been misplaced or stolen. Makers Minerals is not responsible for packages that were marked as "Delivered" by your postal provider.

What is the difference between mineral chips and crushed minerals?

Mineral chips are usually tumbled to slightly tumbled pieces that can range in size and shape. Most shops buy mineral chips from a wholesaler (usually China) and then resell them on ETSY or elsewhere. They are rarely curated or tumbled by the actual seller.

Crushed minerals are very different! They are not mass produced or offered at wholesale. Usually, the seller (myself) hand picks the material to be crushed; therefore, they can control the quality of the end-product.
